Training is one of LAC’s 7 priority initiatives.

We are committed to training the next generation of pastors, teachers, and workers in Latin America and the Caribbean to lead the body of Christ in obedience to God’s word and to His commands. From the beginning, the preparation national leaders has been among our highest priorities. This work extends from the level of local Sunday school and personal discipleship to pastoral training in Bible schools established all across the continent.

The continued emphasis on education and training has prepared a generation of educational leaders and in all areas of Latin America and the Caribbean. National educators are joining and, in many cases, leading the task of training new pastors and future educators.

LAC offers pastoral continuing education programs, and most national ministry leaders have been through the Latin America Advanced School of Theology or the Caribbean School of Theology. Regional teacher training and certification summits held up to three times a year are preparing yet another generation of educators. The theme of these schools has always been knowledge and fervor. The Facultad de Teologia is the masters level continuing education program. The leadership of this school has the long term goal of preparing doctoral level faculty and Latin American authors who will produce the texts for the next generations.
