Compassion Ministry is one of LAC's 7 priority initiatives.

170 million people in Latin America Caribbean are victims of poverty, malnutrition, disease, abuse, exploitation, and lack of education. We recognize that human dignity is based on the premise that every person is created in God's image, and our response to these hurt and vulnerable people is motivated by the transforming work that God has done through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through compassion ministries we address both physical and spiritual needs, empowering others to fulfill the purpose that God has for them and providing sustainable change for the individual.

We believe that the local church is God’s agent of reconciliation and transformation in the world, and we collaborate with local churches in each nation to uphold the cause of the poor and the exploited. We are committed to discovering the need and reaching out to the least, the last and the lost, that the Holy Spirit would reveal to them their true value and enable them to dream new dreams.
